Serpent's Skull

4/19 Quick Note

Go ahead and get some replies going about what you’re next steps are. Crusher is hurt pretty bad, but he’s stable. So, if it takes 8 hours of rest to heal 1 hp … he’s gonna be below 0 hp for a few days. Amras isn’t quite so hurt, so he’ll be up and about much sooner.

How will you guard your wounded party members? Remember you’re 60’ down a hole in the ground below the Thrunefang tribal home. Do you have enough light to last? I’ll assume you’ve got enough food … that you carried X days of food from camp when you left.

I’ve got 2-3 rations left… still have a lamp and a bunch of oil for it. I’m fairly wounded, as well, so I’ll be doing some light scouting, but otherwise I’ll be sitting around not-dying.

As a halfling, I can grow mushrooms for food if we need to.

Aye, Rauno’s got 2 more days of rations left. He’ll also pitch in a couple flasks of oil, as well as four torches. He’s got five pitons that we could use (with someone elses rope) to make essentially a net over the hole in the floor. Maybe it’ll keep out unwanted company, but who knows. As I see it, we’ll not have the collective strength to actually hoist Crusher back up the pit.

If the now-dead priestess has anything useful, we can adjust a plan around that. (Like say, a wand of cure light wounds. :D )

As a halfling, I suppose I could cast a warding, and then raise her as a planar being, demanding she cure us and guide us to the surface before freeing her back to whatever hell has taken her. Any thoughts?

I presume you mean thoughts other than, ‘String the Halfling up by the ankles and beat him like a cheap Tijuana pinata’?

Amras has three trail rations left, 3 flasks of oil and a lamp. I also have caltrops, so we can set those up somewhere. If we’re holing up in the cave with the dead priestess, we can put the caltrops in one of the entrances, and exclusively use the other one.

We actually don’t need strength to get them out of the hole. My thoughts are we are only a few rooms away from the entrance to the cave if we can get the halfling to go topside grab a board or two we can drag the two down party members back to the entrance of the cave. The light house walk out area was right above the hole And with all the supplies from the ship somehow in the camp we can use a pully system to lift our comrades out of the hole and go lock ourselves in the lighthouse. and eat the food that we had stored at the camp site.
